My Story
Born in the ’80s, surrounded by beauty, nature and warm colours, I spent my childhood in a postcard scenario.
I have always been in love with books, stories and adventures, I started reading and dreaming of big cities and excitement at a very young age.
This constant longing for stories and the curiosity towards ‘the other’ took me to study at- what in Italy is called- “Liceo Classico” - five years of ancient Greek, Latin and classical literature.
I spent my teenage years listening to punk-rock American female bands, while studying Greek in my room in a village by the sea in Italy. Images and photography made me dream of far-away realities, I used to cut and paste photos from magazines, newspapers into my diaries as a reminder of what I wanted to see and to be.
I graduated in cultural anthropology and moved to Milan. I started working in fashion, thinking that my love for photography, research and creativity would be a perfect match, but this deep desire of creating and researching kept coming back.
Finally, I moved to London, Hackney, the place of my heart, a mix of everything I loved: music, art, fashion, cultures from all over the world.
I studied photography at the London College of Communication and started working freelance.
After many years, projects, friends, a daughter and a marriage I moved to Copenhagen, where I started everything fresh with my husband and my daughter.
